The Lack of Console Strategy Games

As an old PC gamer, I had so many great games to choose from back in my high school days, but my favourite genre to play was strategy games. I used to be addicted to games like Battle for Middle Earth, Age of Empires, Warcraft 3, Rise of Nations, Rome Total War and more.

In addition, it can create an entirely new segment in the gambling business, which will specialize in VR. Instead, get the most out of the procedure by getting player feedback on an interactive digital prototype of your cell game before you even begin coding. I miss those good old days when there were quite a few different strategy games to play, but it’s only until recently I’ve noticed the complete lack of strategy games available for console gamers, and I guess what’s even more disappointing is that there doesn’t seem to be hardly any in the development stages for the future.

Are these games a thing of the past? I keep looking at gaming news sites to try and find something to fill the void, but most are just low budget indie games, or rumored speculation.

I guess the standard controls for these types of games on console systems would be less than ideal, but surely with USB keyboard and mice available there’s still a huge market for these types of games? There’s still millions of gamers who love playing previous strategy games, so it’s surprising that developers are trying to stay away from the genre. I haven’t played a better strategy game than Age of Empires personally, and I’m surprised the franchise died out, but I love games when you have to build up your town and think more strategically in order to beat other players or AI. The website   features an extremely modern and strong design with prevailing back tones.

When Age of Empires 3 came out, I saw great potential in the game to go on to become even better, when they introduced the system in which you had to use your resources more sparingly, in order to progress through the ages of history to become more powerful. I hope to see more strategy games in the future, not just for consoles, but also for the PC. It’s something I think all gamers are missing out on, when there are so many shooters and sports games available, especially for those new to gaming who never got chance to play those older games.

What do you guys think ?
